Spring Fling Bowling Tournament
Come out and show your support for Marion County’s teachers and students. Join us on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 from 5 to 8pm at the AMF Galaxy East bowling alley located at 3225 SE Maricamp Road in Ocala for our “Spring Fling Bowling Tournament”. Each team will enjoy an evening of friendly competition to see which team will be “King” of the lanes. During the evening we will be hosting our version of trivia as well as something new this year that will be fun for all.
Can’t make the event? You can still participate by sponsoring the event or a team to help us raise money to support the programs of the Public Education Foundation. All Sponsorship information must be completed by Tuesday, May 5th, 2015 in order to receive full sponsorship benefits.

PEF Marion is a not-for-profit corporation organized to enhance education in the Marion County Public School System, from pre-Kindergarten through vocational and adult education programs. Over the past 24 years, The Public Education Foundation of Marion County has proudly raised close to 9.3 million dollars for our teachers and students in Marion County.
Those funds have been placed directly back into the hands of our teachers through programs like Grants for Great Ideas. Tools for Teaching, Take Stock in Children, as well as Golden..
MARION COUNTY – Tools 4 Teaching, a Marion County school supply store founded by and benefitting teachers, is now part of the Kids in Need Foundation, a national network responsible for giving away more than $400 million in school supplies.
The Kids in Need Foundation formally invited Tools 4 Teaching, a program of the Public Education Foundation of Marion County, to join its Kids in Need Network, a national team of 29 resource centers. Marion County joins Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale as the only Florida KINF connections.
