The Teacher To Be Scholarship is for current Marion County Public Schools employees who are presently in the pursuit of becoming a teacher.
The scholarship is $500 per semester for up to five semesters towards the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or minor in Education).
Deadline: September 25th, 2026 @ 11:59 PM
Eligibility to apply for the scholarship includes but is not limited to:
- Current MCPS employees with a minimum of 2 years of district employment
- Currently enrolled in college/university
- Already possess an AA/AS degree or 60 college credits
- Plan to teach in MCPS upon completion of degree
