Connecting Children, Classrooms & Community
Supporting Marion County Public Schools
Our Mission is to financially and materially support Marion County Public Schools, its students and teachers.
Our vision is to enhance the performance of the Marion County Public School System.
Our actions focus community interest on public education, and initiate support and underwrite projects and programs that benefit students, teachers, administrators and Marion County Public Schools.
PEF Marion is a non-profit, direct support organization focused on enhancing education in the Marion County Public School system, from pre-Kindergarten through vocational and adult education programs.
The Public Education Foundation of Marion County has proudly raised millions of dollars for our teachers and students in Marion County. Those funds have been placed back into the hands of our teachers through programs like Grants for Great Ideas, Tools for Teaching, Take Stock in Children, as well as Golden Apple Academy. We are committed to continue to serve the needs of our teachers and students well into the future.
