MARION COUNTY, FL, Sept. 23, 2025 – Ausley Construction, a leading Ocala-based construction management firm, has announced a $50,000 donation to be split between the new Winding Oaks Elementary School and a scholarship fund to support high school seniors going into “High Skill, High Wage” fields as defined by the State of Florida in a multi-year commitment. These fields support the local workforce in critical areas of need like firefighters, law enforcement officers, the construction trades, nurses, and special education teachers.
The gift was presented during the dedication ceremony for Winding Oaks Elementary School today, one of Ausley Construction’s most recent education projects. This donation underscores Ausley’s commitment not only to building exceptional learning environments but also to directly investing in the educators and programs that shape Marion County’s future leaders.
“With this donation, we’re proud to support the faculty, staff, and programs of the Marion County Public Schools,” said Ken Ausley, CEO of Ausley Construction. “Beyond building state-of-the-art facilities, we’re also dedicated to developing the next generation of Marion County.”
Education construction has long been a core focus for Ausley Construction, with a portfolio that includes projects such as Bradford K-7 School, Palatka Intermediate School, the Ina A. Colen Academy, and the College of Central Florida’s AdventHealth Center for Nursing. This latest contribution reflects the firm’s ongoing dedication to advancing education throughout the region.
The $50,000 donation will provide long-term support for MCPS’s vision of helping every student succeed.
